Open Gate FM is a Community Based Commercial Radio Station operating on frequency 103.2 MHz. Open Gate Fm has grown to a level of leading FM Radio Station in Eastern Uganda with an optimum coverage of almost all the 20 districts of Eastern Uganda.

Step FM is a privately owned l Radio station in Mbale which started operating in December 2005 on frequency 99.8 FM. The Station drives out a well-built, clear signal backed by a 3KW transmitter casing in excess of 15 districts

Uganda Police Force has changed Uniforms for traffic officers.

The Traffic Police unit is to start wearing the old khaki uniform with black and white caps for female officers and ashe-berets for male officers.

Tanzania's President John Pombe Magufuli is dead

Tanzania's President John Pombe Magufuli is dead, aged 61.

The Vice President Samia Suluhu Hassan confirmed the President’s passing.

She said that Mr.Magufuli died on Wednesday at 6pm from heart complications, at a hospital in Dar es Salaam.
